Meet Lisa

When asked to describe me people say: Lisa has an infectious laugh and she is kind. I work at being kind; it’s important to me. I smile at strangers. I encourage friends. I look for joy in little things and that helps give me a kinder outlook. 

I find joy in:

• Casting on a new knit project.

• Drawing a quote I want to remember.

• Taste testing a delicious new recipe.

• Meeting up with a friend for lunch.

• Reading an engaging book.

• Playing with my art supplies.

• Writing letters, and decorating the envelopes.

• Taking a hike, and stretching on my yoga mat. 

And I also find joy living in San Rafael, California with Rod, my husband of 37 years. Our grown son, Zach, lives and works in Portland. And yes, it is a joy to be his mom. teehee
