Bake Knit Sew, A New Book!

BakeKNitSewEvin Beal O'Keeffe's new book is such fun! I supported the kickstarter Evin used to produce the book. So I was eager to buy a copy when it came out. And it is finally out! I was not disappointed. I am not a seamstress but I love to bake and knit. There are enough recipes and patterns to me happy. There is a tea cozy pattern that looks perfect. It’s the season for lovely cups of tea in the afternoon. And I want a cozy on my pot!But what I enjoyed most about the book were the recipes. I am a sucker for a good sweet. And Evin told a little story with each treat. It’s fun to read how the recipe came to her and what spin she added to make it her own. The Orange Honey Loaf and Lime Poppy Seed Scones appeal to me because I love citrus. But it was the Monster cookies that really caught my eye. I made a batch right away. Yum! My hubby and I enjoyed a couple hot out of the oven with a glass of cold milk. Then I packaged the rest up to send to my son and nephew in college. They are beggin for more! Hungry teens are easy to please but these cookies were especially well received. I had to make a second batch for us at home! I can recommend this book filled with yummy recipes and lovely photos.  I’m eager to try the Chocolate Caradom Tart next! You can find out more about Evin here at her website. And if you want to order Bake Knit Sew you can click here. And if you want to follow this blog tour here are the stops.
