Top Ten Knitting Moments of 2011

This is the time of year when many folks are busy making new year's resolutions. I do like to think ahead but I am more in the mood to look back. The top ten list appeals to me. I have been thinking of many categories to try. The first one that came to mind of course was knitting. Here you go, my top ten knit moments of 2011:10. Attending the Giants Stitch & Pitch game August 1.9. Finding a sweater ready for seaming after 2 years in the closet!8. Joining the beekeeper quilt knit along on Ravelry.7. Our weekly knit group starts up again on Saturdays.6. Getting promotional knitting needles with my name on them.5. Knitting with Debbie Macomber in her shop.4. Becoming more active in the Ravelry community.3. The release of my book, Knit With Love, October 1. And then going on tour!2. Watching Zach pad around in new handknit socks (by me) at Christmas time.1. Understanding continental—at last! Knitting a new way.
